hi!
my name is Barbara and I'm an illustrator based in Porto. I've been working in illustration for a while now but only exclusively for about two years. I do commission work and collaborate with several shops/galleries in Portugal and Spain. I also participate regularly in art markets and exhibitions.I've organized and curated an illustration show called "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" from 2018 to 2020, to increase visibility of women illustrators living in Portugal.currently planning new collective projects and creating exclusive illustrations for my shop. Oficinas Criativas / Creative Workshops

These workshops aim to explore illustration as a tool to stimulate each child's creativity and encourage graphic self-expression and visual storytelling.
I believe that art should be seen as an individual process of discovery, but also as a rich moment of interaction and sharing.Through simple and adapted techniques, each workshop is a unique journey that challenges the imagination and develops essential artistic skills:
- Visual Storytelling: Knowing how to tell stories without the use of words.- Emotional Expression: Using drawing, painting and other
techniques to give shape and color to emotions.- Technical Skills: Exploration of different materials and textures.- Interaction and Sharing: A safe space to share ideas and see/understand the world through the eyes of others.
